2025 Ammann e-Drive eABG 4820
eABG 4820 – Proven, Powerful & Available TodayThe eABG 4820 is the largest electric paver on the market—and it has already proven itself in action. With a remarkable daily output of 1,200 tonnes and a 70% reduction in CO2 emissions, it sets new standards for sustainable paving. Equipped with a Variomatic screed, paving widths up to 6.5 meters, and an impressive output of 500 tonnes per hour, this machine delivers performance you can rely on. Its powerful battery ensures a full shift of operation, making it the ideal choice for emission- and noise-sensitive job sites. And best of all: It’s available now!
Features may include:
Reduced CO2- Total CO2 machine well-to-wheel emissions are reduced by about 70%. The paver itself is emissions-free, but depending on country some CO2 is created during generation of electricity.
- The machine falls into the mid-sized class, which is large for an electric-drive paver. Its substantial size is one reason it is able to place up to 1200 tonnes of asphalt in a day.
- The paver is powered by a 600-volt, 270 KWh lithium nickel-cobalt-aluminum oxide (NCA) traction battery pack.
- The proprietary ABG e+ screed heat system provides screed heating from a power pack to the jobsite; there is no power drawn from the traction battery.
